Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Kelson (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using Kelson, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Description of Service

Kelson is a relationship wellness application that provides:

• A 30-day guided relationship reset journey
• Personal journaling tools with mood tracking
• AI-powered coaching conversations
• Relationship mapping and reflection exercises
• Emotional discipleship courses
• Push notification reminders

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account

Free Tier

The free tier provides access to the 30-day journey content. Journaling, AI coaching, and other premium features require a paid subscription.

Premium Subscription

• Monthly: $17.99 per month, billed monthly
• Yearly: $149.00 per year, billed annually (66% savings)

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months or unused portions of your subscription.

21-Day Streak Reward

Users who maintain a 21-day consecutive activity streak may earn a limited period of free premium access as a reward. To claim this reward, users must click to activate within 3 days of achieving the streak. Rewards not activated within this window will expire. This is a promotional feature and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Kelson, including journal entries, reflections, and relationship maps. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our products
• Share content with AI providers as necessary for AI features (subject to our Privacy Policy)

You are solely responsible for your content and must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our consent
• Circumvent any access controls or usage limits

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by Kelson and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request a copy of your data before account deletion.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALIGNED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
